Femalesimilar to male but with little or no blue on throat.Juvenile similar to adult but has dull greyish-greenon forehead and cheeks; no blue on throat; dullred rump washed green; pale orange bill; browneye. Unique for its ability to sleep upside down.Very arboreal.
